We are so proud to announce that Leah has been selected to join the Gloucester-Hartpury Centre of Excellence, following a number of County and COE trials.
Congratulations Leah for all your hard work, a fantastic achievement and we are so proud of you!
The Centre of Excellence is the next stage in the Womens Performance Pathway from the County program. COE is an integral part in assessing, supporting and developing U18 female players on their rugby journey. The program is run in collaboration with the RFU which will give more girls the opportunity to progress through the England Pathway

All the fun of the fair is coming to Tewkesbury RFC for our Family Fun Day on Saturday 4 September between 11.00am and 2.00pm to kick off the new season in style. Take on the spinning disks of the Fun House, fly high on the chair o plane, or a spin in the tea cups or bounce in the trampoline beds and more ….and if you get a bit peckish then Woody’s will be on hand to serve a slice of delicious Pizza or try a yummy pudding from PudPud’s. The clubhouse bar will also be open for coffee, tea and a range of soft and alcoholic drinks!
Open to all our Tigers and their families who registered with us last season and to our new U6 and U7 members joining us this September. The rides are free to all children between the ages of 5+ – 16 but they do need to have a wrist band to be able to use the rides so pop into the clubhouse before you head to the rides to pick up your wristband and enjoy yourselves to as many rides as you’d like.

It’s been a while since our pitches saw any real action, and with the new season just weeks away it was a great opportunity for our players to get together for our club Touch Tournament.
Six teams entered the tournament, all drawn from a mix of juniors and seniors who came up with a selection of “team names” ! Ladies, Tom Wade Is Pride, Mike Oxmall, Patriots, F.O.S and Gold Member. All the games were closely contested with F.O.S overall winners and Gold Members runners up. Bad luck to the Patriots who pushed hard, we wish them luck in finding the right leadership for the next competition 😂 but it’s the taking part that counts and everyone did brilliantly!
It was great to see so many people there to cheer everyone on so thank you to everyone who came along to lend your support. We’d also like to send a special thank you to referees Steve Cooper and Robbie Davies who went above and beyond and to Lesley for your help too!

With the new season edging ever closer, our new Colts team have been putting in some hard work with pre-season training sessions and it’s thanks to a grant from Tewkesbury Borough which has enabled us to purchase new strengthening and conditioning equipment. The lads are really enjoying the new training regime and it’s set to be a cracking season.
Our new Colts team are looking for some support to purchase more new strengthening and conditioning equipment. The Colts team has been set up to help U17/U18 transition to the senior game and will be playing in the Glos Development League this season so if you are interested in supporting you local club please contact us for me details.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Young Gloucester this August who will be providing Summer Holiday Activities for young people aged between 5-16 across the Tewkesbury District. This is a fantastic initiative by the charity and we are incredibly happy to be supporting them.
